Moreover, this type of brake does not require any external power connections, making it a highly energy-efficient solution.<\/p>\n<p>This system is typically used in small cutting machines manufactured by many OEMs, where the shaft must be brought to a controlled stop within a specific timeframe, as imposed by industry safety standards.<\/p>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<\/div><\/section><br ><h3><strong>Activation\/release of the flux-shunt brake. <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The brake is activated when power to the motor is turned off\u2014during the shutdown phase: an innovative, proven mechanism utilizes the elimination of magnetic force within the rotor to bring the shaft to a controlled stop.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, when the motor is turned on (start-up phase), the flux shunt intercepts
